A bridal makeup trial is a personalized session where we work together to design and refine your ideal wedding day look. We’ll explore your preferences, discuss your wedding details, and consider every element, from your dress and hairstyle to your venue and overall vision, leaving no stone unturned. Just as importantly, your trial is a chance for us to connect. As one of the few vendors you’ll meet and work with in person before your wedding, it’s important that you feel completely comfortable with me by your side on your most special morning. Together, we’ll ensure every detail is thoughtfully considered so you can feel confident, cared for, and entirely yourself on your wedding day.

During the trial, we will:

• Discuss your wedding theme, dress, and hairstyle for a cohesive look

• Trial your makeup styles of interest, tones, and finishes to find what suits you best

• Evaluate how products wear on your skin over time

• Make any necessary adjustments to achieve the perfect result

(Bridal trials are highly recommended and typically scheduled 3-8 months before the wedding)

Groom makeup is designed to deliver a clean, polished, and effortlessly natural look that enhances your appearance without ever feeling heavy or noticeable. The goal on your wedding day isn’t to transform, but to subtly refine. We focus on evening skin tone, minimizing blemishes or redness, reducing shine, and ensuring a smooth, matte finish that holds up under both natural light and professional photography. Whether you’re prone to oily skin, dealing with last-minute breakouts, or simply want to look your freshest and most confident, this discreet grooming service is tailored to your unique skin needs. 

For our grooms, the process typically includes:

• Light skin prep for a smooth, fresh look

• Spot concealing and color correcting for blemishes or under eye circles

• Shine control and oil free powder for a matte finish

• Grooming of the brows

• Optional enhancements like lip balm or slight bronzing for healthy color

For members of the wedding party (up to 4 additional guests), such as bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom, and other close guests, this package offers fully customized makeup tailored to each individual while beautifully complementing the overall bridal look and wedding theme. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure a harmonious and elevated appearance across the entire party. This cohesive and polished approach guarantees that every important person in your celebration not only feels confident and radiant but also reflects the beauty and intention of your big day.

For your wedding guests (up to 4 additional guests), the service includes:

• Coordinated tones and styles that align with the bridal vision

Keep your bridal look flawless from the moment you say “I do” to your last dance with our Extended Touch Up Package, an on site beauty service designed to give you total peace of mind throughout your wedding day. This luxury add on ensures you have a professional makeup artist by your side to provide continuous touch ups and beauty support as the day unfolds. Whether it’s refreshing your lip color after a kiss, perfecting your complexion after emotional moments, adding some sparkles or drama to the eye for a fun second look, or controlling shine during outdoor photos, we will be there every step of the way. Ideal for brides who want a luxury experience and consistent perfection throughout the day, this package ensures your glow never fades and your confidence never dips.

Package includes:

• On-site makeup artist availability for (up to) 8 consecutive hours starting one hour after the final makeup application is completed

• Optional second look for the bride

• Touch ups for the bride and bridal party members that have had their makeup done by our team

• Shine control, lipstick refresh, lash adjustments, and smudge fixes

• Blotting, powdering, and overall complexion maintenance

• Assistance before and after key moments (ceremony, photos, reception entrance, after dinner)

• Access to our Bridal Emergency Kit while on location, for the hiccups along the way (includes safety pins, band aids, tide pens, scissors, and much more)

BOOKING AND DEPOSITS

To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable deposit of 50% Is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied to your final balance. Dates are not considered confirmed until the deposit is received and a signed agreement is in place. The remaining balance is due 10 days before the wedding day. A minimum of $400 service spend is required to reserve the date.

MINIMUMS

A minimum service total of $700, excluding travel fees and additional expenses, is required to book and reserve the wedding date. The minimum must be met through the selection of eligible makeup services. Travel fees, parking, tolls, valet, and any required accommodations are additional charges and do not count toward the minimum service requirement.

TRAVEL FEES:

A travel fee of $1 per mile round trip (outside the 50 miles round trip included in our bridal packages) from our studio address will apply (2118 El Camino Real, Santa Clara CA 95050). This fee is calculated based on the total distance traveled to and from the appointment location, from our studio location. It helps cover transportation costs, travel time, and the additional preparation required for on-location services. The final travel fee will be determined once the exact address of the getting ready location is confirmed. Travel fees are added in addition to the bridal service rate and any other applicable fees. If your location changes after booking, the travel fee may be adjusted accordingly. Parking fees, tolls, and valet fees, will be added to the final total as well. 

For wedding locations that are either 2 or more hours away from our studio or require the artist to begin services at 5:00AM or earlier, overnight hotel accommodations are required for the night before the wedding. This ensures the artist is already on location and fully prepared to begin on time for early morning start times without the risks of long distance travel delays, traffic, or unexpected road conditions on the day of the event.

Client Responsibilities in this case:

• Provide or cover the cost of a clean and safe hotel room either at the same location where the bride will be staying or within 15 minutes of the wedding venue.

• Accommodations must be confirmed at least 30 days prior to the event.

• If applicable, parking fees or additional travel expenses (tolls, ferries, etc.) will also be the client’s responsibility.

This policy ensures timely arrival, quality service, and a smooth, stres free experience for your big day.

DESTINATION WEDDINGS:

For weddings requiring air travel or overnight stays, accommodations and transportation must be arranged and covered by the client. A customized quote will be provided based on location and schedule.

All travel expenses are the responsibility of the client. This includes:

• Round trip airfare

• Baggage fees (for professional makeup kits)

• Airport transfers or local transportation (e.g., Ubers, taxis)

• Tolls, ferries, or parking fees (if applicable)

Accommodations

• A private, clean hotel room must be provided for the artist for at least one night before the wedding day (or more, depending on travel time and wedding schedule).

• Accommodations must be either at the same location where the bride will be staying or within 15 minutes of the getting ready location.

• For early call times or remote destinations, additional nights may be required.

Per Diem

• A daily per diem may be added to cover meals and incidental expenses, especially for multi day travel or international locations.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Getting started is simple! The best first step is to submit an inquiry through my website’s contact form so I can gather a few details about your wedding day, including your date, location, and the number of people in your party. Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll confirm availability and provide information about my services and booking process. If your date is available, we can move forward with securing it with a retainer and start booking your trial. From there, I’ll guide you through every step to make sure the process feels smooth and stress free.

I gravitate toward radiant, healthy looking skin, soft definition, and balanced tones that photograph beautifully while still looking natural in person. I often work with brides who don’t want a cookie cutter approach and prefer something more personal, whether that means skipping foundation, avoiding glitter or shimmer, keeping the skin dewy and minimal, or even going without lashes. The same philosophy applies to brides who want something more high impact, like a red lip or heavier coverage. The goal is always the same: strip away what bridal makeup is “supposed” to be and provide a wedding makeup that reflects you. Every look is tailored so your features are enhanced while you still feel completely like yourself.

DO YOU OFFER BEAUTY CONSULTING AS WELL?

Yes! For every bride that books, beauty consulting is included with a focus on timing of your personal goals and services. This can include skin prep guidance, product and treatment recommendations, and tips for achieving your ideal look on your wedding day and beyond.

HOW DO I RESERVE MY DATE?

Reserving your wedding date is easy and official once we have a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit. Because my calendar fills quickly, dates are secured on a first come, first served basis. Once your booking is confirmed, your date will be locked in on my schedule. From there, we can begin planning your timeline, trial, and any additional services you may want. Securing your date early helps make the planning process relaxed and well organized.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

I love being a part of weddings no matter where they take place, and I’m happy to travel anywhere to make your day special. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance, but I’m always willing to work with you to make it happen. Whether your wedding is in a completely different city, or a destination wedding in a different state or country, I’ll do my best to accommodate your location. Being there on-site allows me to provide a smooth and relaxed experience for you and your bridal party. No matter where your wedding is, my goal is to ensure you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful on your big day.

DO YOU TRAVEL TO THE GETTING READY LOCATION FOR WEDDINGS?

Yes! In most cases I travel directly to your getting ready location so your wedding morning is as convenient and relaxed as possible. I bring my full professional kit and set up wherever you’re preparing for your big day. Being on location also helps keep the schedule organized and ensures everyone is ready on time. Wherever you’re getting ready, I’ll be there to help you look and feel your best.

CAN I COME TO YOUR STUDIO ON MY WEDDING DAY?

While wedding day services are typically performed on location at your getting ready venue, studio appointments may be an option in certain situations. Studio services are more commonly used for bridal trials or other special events rather than the wedding day itself. While being at your location often makes the morning easier and more efficient, we can always discuss options if you prefer studio services instead!

DO YOU STAY FOR TOUCH UPS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Our extended touch up package is available for brides who want continued coverage after the ceremony. I can remain on site to refresh your makeup before photos, the reception, add drama to the eyes or lips for a fun second look, or other key moments throughout the day, which many brides find especially helpful for longer timelines or outdoor events. Your wedding day is usually the most photographed day of your life, and having professional touch ups ensures your makeup stays fresh, polished, and photo ready from start to finish while giving you that extra support throughout the day. Availability and details for this service can be discussed when booking your wedding day services.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?

I work as a one woman team, which allows me to focus fully on each client and provide a detailed, personalized experience. Because of this, I can accommodate the bride plus up to four additional guests. This ensures that everyone receives my full attention and that the morning runs smoothly and on time.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIAL?

Bridal trials are typically scheduled two to four months before your wedding. By this time, most brides have finalized their dress, color palette, and overall wedding vision. This timing helps us design a look that fits perfectly with the day’s aesthetic and ensures we have time to make any adjustments. Scheduling your trial closer to your wedding date also reduces the chance of needing changes later. I’ll guide you on the best timing once your wedding is booked.

DO I HAVE TO BOOK A TRIAL?

Not necessarily, but I highly recommend booking a trial if possible. It’s a valuable opportunity to test your wedding day look, refine any details, and make sure everything feels just right. During the trial, we can adjust colors, techniques, and overall style to ensure it matches your vision perfectly. It also gives you peace of mind and confidence going into the wedding day. Skipping a trial is possible, but having one helps eliminate surprises and ensures a flawless, stress free experience.

Yes! I love working with every skin tone and type, and my kit is thoughtfully curated to ensure no client is left out, because as an artist my kit isn’t complete unless it can service everyone.

Absolutely! I provide makeup services for all clients, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Weddings are a celebration of every kind of love and all couples are equally deserving of being celebrated fully.
